My work can best be described as process based.  My visual arts focus areas are ceramics, printmaking, and photography.  I enjoy all types of creating and teaching and tend to involve all of my processes into each other.  I am very involved with culinary arts, music study, and cultural studies, equity issues, which includes travel, since a young age to various parts of the world, usually on route to see my family in Kerala, South India.  Here are some samples of my artwork, more available upon request.

These are printmaking examples fusing my love of photography into my other 2D explorations.  I am also very intrigued by textiles, weaving, thread, fabric, and textural surfaces.

I am a potter.  I have studied and taught ceramics, wheel throwing and hand building, for 20 years.  The fusion of beauty, art, and science has probably been the driving force behind my desire to create, learn and share my experiences with art.  I hope to never stop throwing pots.

Photography, film and digital, is where I find so much inspiration as an art form in itself, as well as the best research and development tool for so many other ways to express visually.  I take thousands of photos per year, to help my students create portfolios, to work with and publish for my own work.
